Gumi University was founded in 1992, with nearly 28,000 graduated students . The University has always focused on improving the education and training of new students, aiming to create more specialists in various training disciplines. The school extends international student relations and exchange students with many countries around the world.

There are 500 international students from different countries. The Gumi University Library is a cultural diversity with a variety of materials and convenient facilities that provide services for your study. The school's dormitory provides beds, baths, computer rooms, guest rooms, laundry rooms, kitchen facilities, physical fitness centers for offshore students and international students. There are events in April and September. All students can freely use the lab, use the Internet or work with MS Word. The first floor, with a capacity of 1200 people, cafes, bars, bookstores is a place to find information for students. There is also an art room attached to the university as well as a television station, student council office and club. The school built a printing room to enhance the student learning environment and provide student convenience. It provides services such as printing and copying of student teaching materials. The school also has a public cafeteria, a space that offers the convenience of using job-related information so you can find a variety of positions suitable for your talent through career orientation plans, career management, work skills
