1. What is CES program?
CES program – Studying abroad in Canada
Financial proof is the biggest barrier for students who want to study in Canada. That's why CES program – No financial proof is a great opportunity for Vietnamese students want to study abroad in Canada. The CES program was launched in Vietnam from March 1, 2016 and the testing period lasted for 18 months. Beginning the school term in May 2017 have considerable advantageous in comparison to the final admission supported by CES policy (September 2017), especially psychologically. The Canadian Express Study (CES) - No financial proof is a program for Vietnamese students who want to study in priority schools of Canada (including 45 schools).
Requirement:
► You have to receive the admission letter from one of 45 priority schools apply CES policy.
► You have to pay 1 year’s tuition fee at the school which send you admission letter.
► Purchase of a special Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from Scotiabank of CAD$10,000 to cover living expenses for the first year of stay in Canada.
► An overall IELTS score of 5.0 with no band less than 4.5
► Submit an application visa at least 2 months before the date of enrollment
► Health certificate requested by the Embassy
2. Procedure for obtaining a CES Visa
Preparing to apply:
This is the most important part of apply process, it decide success or failure of applying in the next steps. Just the right route, all the procedures will go smoothly. Many students are subjective because they think this part is simple, but not really. You need experienced consultants to advise you about a right route with your background information and your purpose of study abroad.
Asking for admission letter:
After you had right route, choosing a school to asking for admission letter will also play an important role in your study plan. The preparation of translation documents also is time-consuming. The duration of asking for admission letter can lasted from 2 to 4 weeks, some schools require 8 weeks.
Preparing documents for visa application:
► Receive admission letter from your school and pay tuition fees
► Students go for a medical examination
► Open a blocked account at Scotiabank, and transfer 10,000 CAD into your account
► Fill in the online form and make a visa appointment
► Apply for a visa
Visa processing time is from 9 days to 2 months. That is why students apply soon will have more time to prepare.
After receiving the visa, the final step is to prepare and set out for study abroad.
